You can have confidence

You can have confidence
As I type this on Tuesday evening, my husband just got home from work.  I'm glad to see him on the best of days, but on days like today, I'm extra grateful for his arrival.

He had to try four different routes to get home because of a storm and tornado warning in our area, and not only that, but he found to his surprise that tree limbs were across roads and a semi-downed power line was just above his car at one point.

Thank God for His protection!

God changes our path for reason, whether we realize it or not, God has a purpose and a plan.

This week's podcast episode is about how we don't have to trust our own perceptions when they cause us distress, and how we can feel more confident and less anxious in interactions with others.

Sometimes, our brains are predisposed toward negativity, and when we can see things differently, we can gain freedom.  Just like taking a different road freed my husband from the blocked paths in the storm tonight, taking a different mental approach can lead you to peace, safety, and confidence, too.
