I know you want to please the Lord, and I know that sometimes it can be confusing to have a "self" but not be "self-ish." It's something that many Christian women, my-"self" included struggle with. Where is the line between kindness and push-over? Where is the line between ourselves and our needs and doing the right thing?
What if the right thing is looking at things a different way, through a different lens?
What if the right thing is getting clear on what you are compromising when you try to people please, be everything to everybody, and water down your effectiveness in the things God has for you?
